![]() ![]() The extra clock speed and GPU power (although Polaris is efficient) might not be worth the battery life tradeoff. I was thinking of exchanging my 15" for a faster build but I'm thinking it twice. I think most of us would rather they be several mms thicker in order to get a solid 10 hrs doing work. iPhones have suffered from low capacity batteries as well in sake of thinness. Especially with a maxed out build there is no way to get near the advertised battery life. I wouldn't call this "Battery-gate" but it is disappointing. It's crazy that the non TB 13" has 5 Wh more than the TB models which definitely consume more energy. ![]() Honestly even though Skylake is much more energy efficient than Broadwell, Apple should have placed batteries with 75 Wh in the 13" models. Every single battery will have slightly different mAh, mV and Wh figures but they should all be within range. I don't know the exact voltage of any of the batteries but using 10.95v in a calculator I get 49.02 Wh which is close to the official 49.2 Wh spec. ![]()
